Get one of Bake Sum's joyful pink pastry boxes for the weekend, containing a rotating selection of signature creations like Green Onion Croissants, Okonomiyaki Danishes, Ube Milk Buns, and a veritable rainbow of Mochi Bites.
Named the Bay’s Best Pop Up Bakery by The Bold Italic, Bake Sum melds precise French technique with classic Asian American flavors. Joyce Tang (who honed her skills at Michelin-starred El Celler de Can Roca) works alongside a collective of talented pastry chefs to bring nostalgic, fun, and memorable pastries to one and all.

Pastry Boxes
Bake Sum Pastry Boxes are available every weekend. You can pre-order one time or subscribe to reserve a box every 1, 2 or 4 weeks.
You can also gift a Pastry Box. Simply enter your gift recipient's name, email, and nice note. We will send them a gift email with a link to schedule the Pastry Box gift delivery at their convenience.
You don't need to know your recipient's address to send them a box. We will ask them directly when they schedule their delivery.
Delivery:
- East Bay Sunday 10 am-1 pm, to Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, and Oakland: +$9; El Cerrito, Richmond, San Leandro, San Pablo: +$12
- San Francisco to San Mateo Sunday 11 am-2 pm: +$12
- South Bay Sunday 11 am-2 pm, from Belmont down to San Jose (north of Highway 85): +$15
Important Dates: Place your order by Wednesday at 8 pm for delivery on Friday, and Friday at 8 pm for delivery on Sunday.

How does a Bake Sum subscription work?
Having a Bake Sum subscription means you will have your desired number of Pastry Boxes reserved and delivered to your door every 1, 2 or 4 weeks.
You can skip a week of deliveries or cancel your subscription at any time.
Are you able to accommodate any dietary restrictions?
Unfortunately, we are unable to make any modifications or substitutions at this time.
How can I give a Bake Sum gift?
You can gift Bake Sum Pastry Boxes on this page!
First, select how many boxes you would like to give; then let us know your gift recipient's name and email. We will send them an email on the day you choose to let them know about the gift. Your recipient can then separately tell us their delivery address, when they'd like their gift delivered through a link in their gift email.
You do not need to know your recipient's exact address or tell us the exact date of delivery when purchasing your gift.
